Description

On 15 October 2025, Europa Donna marked Breast Health Day with a special event at the European Parliament in Brussels, hosted by Romana Jerković and Nikos Papandreou. MEPs, health experts and advocates from across Europe gathered to call for the date to be officially recognised as European Breast Health Day. The initiative aims to raise awareness about prevention, early detection and the importance of mammography screening. At the heart of the discussion was a shared goal: ensuring equal access to early detection for every woman in Europe.
