Description

Vivianne Tjan-Heijnen of UMC+ Comprehensive Cancer Center outlined the latest advances in metastatic breast cancer, where treatment focuses on prolonging survival and maintaining quality of life. She highlighted the growing role of molecular profiling and targeted therapies, including antibody–drug conjugates, across different tumour subtypes.
Emerging tools such as circulating tumour DNA are paving the way for more personalised and adaptive treatment strategies.
